Your Alumni Association offers a variety of programs and services throughout the year for Association members and Golden Panther alumni. Most notably are our signature events such as the Torch Awards Gala, Fishing Tournaments and the Panther Pit Tailgating Parties. Book Awards: The Book Awards Program is a partnership between participating local high schools and the FIU Alumni Association whereby select outstanding high school juniors are presented with a book written by an FIU graduate. Read more...

Fishing Tournament: The Florida International University Scholarship Fishing Tournament is a one day, offshore tournament featuring fishing for Dolphin. The University's Alumni Association organizes this event and a portion of the net proceeds goes towards a scholarship program for students of the University. Read more...
FIU Nights: FIU Nights are Alumni Association sponsored gatherings at local sports events. Join in a night of fun and food as alumni and friends cheer on their hometown favorites. Whether it is the World Champion Marlins, Florida Panthers, or Miami Heat, we guarantee a good time. Read more...

Grad Send-Off: The CASE Award Winning Commencement Grad Send-Off is your one stop shop for all your graduation needs. At Grad Send-Off you can: pick up your commencement tickets and passes, order Grad announcements and your Official Class Ring from Herff Jones, receive discounts on select FIU merchandise, etc. Read more...
Greek Alumni Reunion: This event reunites all FIU fraternity and sorority members who are alumni of the university. Greek alumni are invited to network, reminisce and reconnect with each other. Read More...
Honorary Alumni: This adopted program identifies and confers “Honorary Alumni” status on certain individuals in the South Florida community who have made significant contributions to the University. Read More...
Mentoring Program: The Mentoring Partnerships Program is coordinated by the Office of Alumni Relations and the FIU Women's Center. This voluntary program provides students with an opportunity to make immediate connections with alumni who have graduated from FIU's academic and student life programs in addition to faculty and staff members. Panther Day of Service: On this day, Golden Panthers around the country will team up for various service projects that will positively impact the communities in which they live. Read More...
Panther Pit Tailgates: All FIU Alumni and their families and friends gain free entry to our home game alumni tent - The Panther Pit. On game day, enjoy food and refreshments for a nominal fee, plus free give-a-ways*, visits from Roary the FIU Mascot, the FIU Marching Band, and the FIU Cheerleaders and Dazzlers. Read more...

Scholarship Programs: The FIU Alumni Association recognizes undergraduate and graduate students for their academic and leadership achievements. The Association annually awards more than $25,000 in scholarship assistance. Torch Awards: Each year, the Florida International University Alumni Association honors distinguished alumni and a faculty member at the annual Torch Awards Gala.
