Fifth Annual SoBe Wine & Food Festival coming to town The deadline to receive an Alumni Association discount on tickets has passed, but don’t let that deter you from checking out one of the nation’s top wine and food festivals in our own backyard on Friday-Sunday, February 24-26, 2006. Greek Alumni Reunion packs the house FIU fraternity and sorority alumni had a great time reminiscing and catching up at the 3rd Annual Greek Alumni Reunion on December 14, 2005, at the Omni Colonnade Hotel in Coral Gables. Miami Herald Corporate Day on March 15 On behalf of the FIU Alumni Association, all FIU alumni and students who currently work at the Miami Herald and its affiliates are invited to attend the FIU Corporate Day Reception. The reception will take place on Wednesday, March 15, at the Miami Herald in Conference Room A from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. You must be a current employee to attend. The FIU Alumni Association is your connection to the FIU community and we'd like to take this opportunity to reconnect with you and your fellow alumni. We encourage you to come and learn about the new and exciting things taking place at your alma mater. The reception will include guest speakers, food and beverage, and free give-aways for all attendees.
