The FIU Alumni Association recognizes undergraduate and graduate students for their academic and leadership achievements. The Association annually awards more than $25,000 in scholarship assistance. Scholarship funds are raised through the FIU License Plate Program and signature Alumni Association events like the Alumni Golf Tournament, Torch Awards, and Fishing Tournament.

To receive consideration for scholarships funded through the Alumni Scholarship Program for the 2008-2009 academic year, please review the information below and submit the appropriate application.

2008-2009 Scholarship Applications are due on Friday, April 4, 2008.

The Florida International University (FIU) Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship

• Available to incoming admitted freshmen and undergraduate students who are admitted and enrolled full-time (12 credit hours).
• Minimum GPA required: 3.0/4.0
• Recipient must be a student who has a parent/grandparent/sibling who is a graduate of FIU and a current member of the FIU Alumni Association.
• Awards are non-recurring.

• Available to undergraduate and graduate students who are admitted and enrolled full-time (12 credit hours).
• Minimum GPA required: 2.75/4.0
  
• Recipient must be a current member of the FIU Student Alumni Association.
