Testimonials

"My FIU Alumni Career Coach was amazing. She helped me to review my resume and cover letter and gave me great tips on where I might have been selling myself short. I even took away job search optimization tips that I was not expecting to receive. The session was beneficial, and I am more confident that I will secure a job soon." - Herline Emmanuel
"My FIU Alumni Career Coach was absolutely amazing and gave me the push I needed to get out there and off my computer. I found my job through the FIU Business Career Fair, which I probably wouldn't have attended if it wasn't for my coach's encouragement to change my job search strategy." -Melissa Alfonso ’09
“As a recent graduate with no job waiting for me, I was worried that it would take a long time to find a job I genuinely liked. Attending the Optimize Your Job Search workshop was a blessing. After the workshop, I felt empowered and motivated to get the job of my dreams. A few weeks later, I was offered a job! I am truly thankful for the Alumni Association. The biggest thing I will emphasize is to take advantage of all the things they have to offer. They are here to help!" - Diana Hernandez-Alende ‘14
“My FIU Alumni Career Coach was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, and driven to provide me with a great experience. I was provided great tips on enhancing my profile on LinkedIn and the resources were profound for me since I plan on expanding my brand. The FIU Alumni Association is the best in the country!” - Audra Wright ’13
