As alumni, you are part of the more than 7,000 individuals who have graduated from the School of Communication + Journalism, within the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts, since its opening over 20 years ago. The purpose of our chapter is to strengthen the union between the SCJ and its graduates. Our officers and board members are composed of a diverse group of alumni that is committed to representing our profession, our school’s mission and most importantly…you!
Serving as a forum for the mutual benefit of our school, its students and the members of our chapter, we strive to create networking opportunities, both social and professional, for all School of Communication + Journalism alumni. Our mission is to help FIU’s SCJ truly become World’s Ahead.
Throughout the year, we will be hosting several events, from professional networking happy hours to workshops to educational summits. These events are aimed to help our alumni grow their networks and enhance the skills they gained while attending FIU. The communications field is ever changing. Our goal is to keep our alumni informed and at the top of their game.
We would love to hear from you! Please contact us with any questions, comments or ideas.
