A proud graduate of the FIU College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Law, Peter Smith was one of forty young professionals honored during the 5th Annual Vanguard Conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The conference features the best and brightest young leaders working to improve cities across the country with developments in urban planning, community development, entrepreneurship, and more.

As part of the recent IREAL strategic visioning discussion, Smith presented white papers highlighting FIU’s role as an urban change-maker and celebrated our entrepreneurial culture. FIU was well-represented by a passionate Panther who enthusiastically endeavored to share FIU’s Worlds Ahead vision with the world.
