Why he joined the FIU Alumni Association: I joined the FIU Alumni Association because it is an exciting way to be involved with the University and an avenue to give back to an institution that has helped me and so many others attain their goals. Whether it’s volunteering, mentoring, educating or just getting back on campus – our goal is to stay close to our fellow Panthers. My personal career has led me to move to DC where I got involved with a very active DC Alumni Chapter. Now living in Boston, myself and a few good men and women have the chance to create our own chapter here in Boston. We are in our first year and have some exciting opportunities for networking and career development. With the help and guidance of our Alumni Relations team and other successful chapters like DC and NY, we plan on having a solid year.
What does FIU mean to him: FIU means opportunity to me. It means that as long as you work hard and challenge yourself to do better and be greater, anything is possible. It continues to surprise me how many folks outside of Miami know about the school, the great things that are happening and what our alumni are accomplishing around the country. Keep moving forward and go Panthers!
