What do you love most about FIU and your involvement here?
I love that I have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of people. I have learned a lot from my years of service at FIU and am grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given.

What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in FIU?
The leadership and success which defines FIU today is the cornerstone for the institution’s positioning in the local and international market. When you invest in an institution of this caliber you are in essence becoming an integral part of its global success story.

Why do you think giving back is important to the advancement of FIU and its students?
Giving back comes from within and is not driven by the amount you give, but by your belief in the institution. Knowing that I have played a role in the advancement of FIU and its students reflects my commitment to the University’s continued growth and success.

Why do you feel it is important for alumni & donors to stay engaged/connected with FIU?
My first experience at FIU was as a freshman in the 1990s. Returning over a decade later as an employee was a tremendous eye opener. The campus had grown so much! I often wish that throughout the years I had visited to see the stages of growth it experienced. There is such a rich culture at FIU and if you do not remain engaged you may miss a lot of the experiences and opportunities it can provide, even after graduation.

What advice would you give to students and young alumni?
Make the most of your affiliation with this fine institution. Whether you are a current or former student, there are so many opportunities for personal and professional growth at your reach. Share your FIU story!
