The FIU Alumni Association is proud to announce the return of the Torch Awards!

The 17th Annual Torch Awards Gala will take place on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center (formerly the FIU Arena). After several years of exciting growth, this signature event will be back on campus for the first time in four years!

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at torchawards.fiu.edu. We are excited to once again offer a Young Alumni Discount: FIU alumni ages 35 and younger are invited to attend the Gala for just $195 (a savings of $205).

Net proceeds from the gala will support the First Generation Scholarship Fund and the Alumni Center Building Fund.

During last year’s Torch Awards Gala, alumnus Chad Moss ’94 announced a donation of $10 million to FIU’s College of Engineering & Computing, which is the largest donation by an alumnus in FIU’s history. We’re excited to see what will happen at the 2018 gala!
