Through research, educational opportunities, and services FIU Embrace strives to positively impact the lives of affected individuals, their families and student learners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On\u00a0Tuesday July 19<\/span><span class=\"s1\">, 2016, FIU Embrace and the Family Care Council will be hosting <\/span><span class=\"s3\">two<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> sessions about the ABLE Act presented by ABLE United.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act authorizes states to create tax-free savings accounts for individuals with disabilities. ABLE United, Florida\u2019s qualified ABLE program, was established to encourage and assist people with disabilities to save private funds to support health, independence and quality of life.\u00a0 To learn more about this resource please visit ABLE United\u2019s \u00a0website at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ableunited.com\/\"><span class=\"s4\">http:\/\/www.ableunited.com\/<\/span><\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Now, individuals with disabilities and or their parents can:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Save tax-free for future expenses<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Save while maintaining federal benefits<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Save on fees \u2013 ABLE United offers the best value for Florida residents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">These training opportunities are <b>free<\/b> to the public however, registration is required.
