I have learned a lot from my years of service at FIU and am grateful for the opportunities I&#8217;ve been given.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><strong>What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in FIU?<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/b><\/span>The leadership and success which defines FIU today is the cornerstone for the institution&#8217;s positioning in the local and international market. When you invest in an institution of this caliber you are in essence becoming an integral part of its global success story.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"mf_section_title\"><strong>Why do you think giving back is important to the advancement of FIU and its students?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"mf_section_content\">Giving back comes from within and is not driven by the amount you give, but by your belief in the institution. Knowing that I have played a role in the advancement of FIU and its students reflects my commitment to the University&#8217;s continued growth and success.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mf_section_title\"><strong>Why do you feel it is important for alumni &amp; donors to stay engaged\/connected with FIU?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"mf_section_content\">My first experience at FIU was as a freshman in the 1990s. Returning over a decade later as an employee was a tremendous eye opener. The campus had grown so much! I often wish that throughout the years I had visited to see the stages of growth it experienced. There is such a rich culture at FIU and if you do not remain engaged you may miss a lot of the experiences and opportunities it can provide, even after graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mf_section_title\"><strong>What advice would you give to students and young alumni?<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"mf_section_content\">Make the most of your affiliation with this fine institution. Whether you are a current or former student, there are so many opportunities for personal and professional growth at your reach.
