Widely considered one of the region\u2019s foremost best restaurants and a premier watering hole, Beaker & Gray<\/strong> is sweetening their Happy Hour promotion. Co-owners Brian Nasajon<\/strong> and Ben Potts<\/strong> are upping the ante with Instant Karma<\/em><\/strong>; each month, the hip eatery will join forces with a local non-profit organization and donate a portion of their Happy Hour proceeds<\/strong> to benefit the cause.<\/p>\n

The restaurant\u2019s Instant Karma<\/em> promotion occurs the fourth week of every month<\/strong>. From that Monday through Thursday<\/strong>, a percentage of Happy Hour sales will benefit a different local non-profit\/charitable organization. Beaker & Gray\u2019s charity partner for October<\/strong> is Florida International University\u2019s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management<\/strong>. Its vision is to become the leading global resource for innovative talent and solutions for the hospitality and tourism industry, with competitive expertise in hospitality, real estate development, finance, and food and beverage science. The school\u2019s diverse undergraduate population includes students from more than 60 countries, many of which are the first in their families to attend college. Since 2002, it has hosted, alongside Southern Glazer\u2019s Wine & Spirits, the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival<\/a>, which has raised more than $26 million to date.<\/p>\n

Appropriately coinciding with the Festival\u2019s tickets going on sale, this month\u2019s edition of Instant Karma will run from Monday<\/strong>, October 23 through Thursday<\/strong>, October 26<\/strong>. From 4PM to 7PM<\/strong>, Happy Hour goers can enjoy bites such as the Grilled Cheese \u2013 smoked ham, Swiss cheese and pickles; Croquettes \u2013 Wagyu, Manchego cheese and jerk-aioli; savory Mochi \u2013 dill, coconut, togarashi; and a variety of cocktails, beers and wines to wash it all down. Patrons can follow Beaker & Gray on social media for details on future beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
