This summer, the FIU Athletic Department reinforced the commitment to its student-athletes with the rebranding of the athletics annual giving campaign. The Panther Scholarship Fund (PSF), formally the Panther Club, will ensure that philanthropic gifts make a positive and immediate impact on the lives of over 400 student-athletes and will serve as the primary source of giving to FIU Athletics.<\/p>\n
The Panther Scholarship Fund will assist FIU Athletics in providing the necessary resources to enhance the overall academic and athletic experience for the student-athletes. The PSF will allow FIU Athletics to cover costs associated with its annual scholarship bill \u2013 approximately $6,500,000 \u2013 so the department can reinvest in other revenue sources to assist with its 18 varsity sports.\u00a0 With multiple giving levels, contributions of all sizes will support scholarship funding for FIU student-athletes.<\/p>\n
