Jean Monestime, the commissioner representing District 2, was unanimously elected by his peers to lead this important decision-making body. Commissioner Monestime is a 1995 graduate, with a degree in finance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And his vice chair? Another FIU graduate: Commissioner Esteban Bovo, Jr., from District 13, who graduated in 1987 with a degree in political science.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Beside their own degrees, Chair Monestime and Vice Chair Bovo have a total of four family members currently attending FIU!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span>If ever we are to see first-hand the impact of our efforts to educate our community, here it is! Rejoice in the success of our graduates!
