\nKandys is a Hospitality & Tourism Event Planning and Management Major and is a Carnival Gold Scholar scholarship recipient.\u00a0 She is an active member of the Student Programming Council and the Business Club.\u00a0 She has participated in Panther Camp and Academy of Leaders and hopes to one day start a scholarship of her own so she too can give back to the university.<\/p>\n

\nMarsha Ashworth, Vice President of Ambassadors\u00a0|\u00a0fiusaa.ambassadors@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>
\nMarsha is a Human Resources major, an active member of the Honors College, very involved in a variety of philanthropic efforts both on campus through Phi Theta Kappa as well as at her church through car washes, trunk or treat events, horses for the handicap and more. One of her goals as a new ambassador is to help make the transition for transfer students a little more smooth as she recently transferred from Broward College.<\/p>\n

\nCordette Vanzant, Vice President of the SAA |\u00a0fiusaa.vpstudentalumni@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>
\nCordette is a psychology major at FIU, an active Honors College student with a strong sense of family. A past Broward College Ambassador, Cordette brings with him a strong background in Fashion after living in New York for several years and studying fashion. He hopes to bring his warmth, helpfulness and spirit of being a motivator to the program.<\/p>\n

\nEmely a senior majoring in Criminal Justice. \u00a0She recently joined Greek Life as a member of Alpha Chi Omega as a founding sister.<\/p>\n

\nJordan is a biological science major and education minor. He is a freshman who recently served on the Homecoming Council and currently serves as a Student Government Intern. He is committed to social activism, most recently serving as the District Chair for the county wide \u201cNo Texting While Driving\u201d Campaign.<\/p>\n

\nSofia is an international business major.\u00a0 She is an active member of the Student Programming Council and recently joined Greek Life by being a founding sister of Alpha Chi Omega.\u00a0 Sofia is passionate about working with children and specifically would like to see the Ambassadors work with children in some project.<\/p>\n

\nIrech Colon, Director of Communications |\u00a0fiusaa.communications@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>
\nIrech\u00a0is a Journalism Major with a minor in Business.\u00a0 She is actively involved with the Beacon, Delta Epsilon Iota and volunteers with Unicef.\u00a0 Irech is a strong advocate for women\u2019s issues and would like to one day start a non-profit for women.<\/p>\n

\nAmanda is a Hospitality Management major, specifically on the Event Planning Track, Amanda is an active member of the Greek system as a sister of Phi Mu, a past Silver Knight recipient due to her near to 500 hours of service work to the homeless of our community. Amanda also serves as an intern in the Office of Alumni Relations.<\/p>\n
