What does that mean exactly? Well, Miami Might\u2019s goal is to raise awareness, sponsorships and donations for Special Needs\u00a0in\u00a0Miami-Dade County through a weight lifting competition. Participants can partake in the actual competition, volunteer during the event, donate to the cause or register as a sponsor.<\/p>\n<p>This event provides an\u00a0opportunity for the community to come together and support\u00a0a great cause, all while enjoying\u00a0some good-natured competition.<\/p>\n<p>A year from now, Kunkle is hoping to have engaged the whole community through Miami Might.\u00a0He\u2019s also looking to create after school projects for impoverished school districts with the goal to aid these students in pursuing further education.<\/p>\n<p>The 2nd annual Miami Might is coming to <a href=\"http:\/\/crossfitkeepcharging.com\/\">FIU&#8217;s &#8220;Keeping Charge&#8221; Crossfit Box<\/a> (located in PG6) on November 14, and we&#8217;d love to see you representing the FIU community. <a href=\"http:\/\/miami-might.com\/mainevent\/\" target=\"_blank\">Join their cause<\/a>: participate, volunteer or sponsor and\u00a0show off <em>your<\/em> strength today!<\/p>\n<p><em>Follow Miami Might on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MiamiMightforSpecialOlympics\/timeline\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0&amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/instagram.com\/miamimight\/\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After graduating, Matthew Kunkle &#8217;14 was looking to do something beyond himself, something that would truly make a difference.
