When I graduated I became a lifetime member to stay connected to my university.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What does FIU mean to her:<\/span>\u00a0FIU is the place where I really became who I am today. There were so many opportunities for me to grow and thrive. It kept me connected to the community as well as connected personally while I worked on my degree. I met some amazing people there, made some great friends, met my wonderful fianc\u00e9 and got pretty far into where I want to be in the world.
