About the Torch Awards

At the Torch Awards, FIU Alumni proudly celebrates recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed upon alumni whose leadership, service, and professional accomplishments have made a lasting impact on their industries, communities, and FIU.

This signature evening brings the Panther community together in celebration, featuring an elevated cocktail reception with curated hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment, and meaningful opportunities to connect with fellow alumni, friends, and supporters. From honoring distinguished alumni to strengthening new and lasting connections, the Torch Awards are a celebration of excellence, pride, and possibility.

By participating, guests help advance FIU Alumni’s mission of fostering lifelong engagement and connection. Support generated through the event enhances programming and opportunities for FIU’s growing alumni network of more than 350,000 Panthers worldwide.
