Armando Diaz II

A Miami native, Armando Diaz graduated from FIU with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in construction management. At the age of 31, he became a general superintendent for Suffolk, one of the most prestigious construction management companies in the U.S. Diaz has had the opportunity to work on major projects such as the Miami Marlins Ballpark, Met III, AAF Miami Station, and the FIU Science Classroom Complex. He has hired and mentored multiple construction management graduates from FIU. They all have assisted him in managing the Field Operations.
In his role as Chair of ABC Young Professionals, Diaz’s goal is to bridge new age concepts with traditional practices. He has been recognized for his impressive work in his field with numerous individual and team awards, such as the Suffolk Build Smart – Innovation award, ABC YP Project of the Year – Met III, and a recipient of the City of Miami Proclamation.
