Brent Spechler has worked as an entrepreneur in the health care sector beginning shortly after his graduation from Florida International University in 1978. Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, he proceeded to form Professional Health Care Services, Inc., (PHCS) a health care staffing company. Upon its sale to Vencor, Inc., in 1995, Spechler had developed what was then one of the largest health care staffing companies in the state of Florida. In 1997, he founded a new company, Work Net Network, Inc., a sales and marketing firm. Over the years, Work Net has transformed into a multi-industry, business development powerhouse with agents nationwide.
In addition, Spechler has a long history of philanthropy. He has served on the boards for Temple Beth El and the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County, where he was also chairman from 2010-2012. He has also been involved with the FIU Physical Therapy Program.
