Florence Greer, a native of Miami, FL, earned an undergraduate degree in Natural Science from Spelman College, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Eastern Michigan University, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Florida International University (FIU).
In her current position as the Public Health Practicum Coordinator/Instructor at FIU’s Stempel College, Ms. Greer oversees applied practice experiences for MPH students in preparing students to assume leadership positions in public health.
Prior to her role at Stempel College Ms. Greer served as an Investigator with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coordinator as well as Minority AIDS Coordinator for the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade.
She is President of the Board of Directors for the Miami-Dade Area Health Education Center (AHEC), a Life Member of the FIU Alumni Association, and a Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
