Jonathan G. Cameron

Jonathan Cameron has worked in the financial services industry since 2006. His passion is providing independent financial advice that makes a difference in people's lives. In 2014, he co-founded the registered investment advisory firm Cameron-Downing in Coral Gables. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Cameron holds himself out to the public with a fiduciary standard of care:  the client’s best interest is first and foremost, always. Cameron is currently serving Florida International University as Vice Chair of the Honors College Community Advisory Board and Treasurer of the English Alumni Board.  He also served 4 years as President of the Honors College Alumni. Through his work with the Honors College, he has facilitated over $790,000 in planned gifts to FIU. Cameron is a board member of the Financial Planning Association of Miami and is also affiliated with Zeiders, a Department of Defense contractor, providing education on financial issues to military members.
