Leonor Anthony is a contemporary artist born in Havana, Cuba. She is an accredited scholar, painter, photographer, and published author. Since 2013, Ms. Anthony has held the prestigious title of Artist-in-Residence of the FIU Honors College. In addition, she is the Founder and Curator of the Honors College Art Collection.

Ms. Anthony is best known as an activist artist. Her views concerning human rights, the environment, and the welfare and empowerment of women throughout the world are the framework of her creations, which highlight the magnitude and prevalence of social issues throughout history.

Her international acclaimed shows include: Aqua Art Miami - Art Basel Week, Miami 2016; Contemporaries at the Uffizi, Florence 2016; Art Expo, New York 2016; Museé du Louvre, Paris 2015; Expo Milano, Milan 2015; Museo Bramante, Rome 2015; Biennale of Palermo, Palermo 2015.
She will participate by invitation in the 57th Biennale of Venice 2017.
