Marile Lopez, MBA, a parent of five children, balances out being an active and influential member of the community and the Chief Financial Officer of the Jorge Luis Lopez Law Firm. Her involvement brought her to several leadership roles: Chair of the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Laureate Society; board member of the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, Miami Children’s Health System, American Cancer Society and Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade; committee member of the American Red Cross Ball, Boys & Girls Clubs Gala and FIU’s President’s Council; and Logistics Director for Catholic Association of Latino Leaders. Marile is a recipient of the American Cancer Society Exceptional Achievement Award, St. Jude’s Honor Award, American Cancer Society’s InnerCircle of 12, Archdiocese of Miami Women of Faith with the Virtue of Charity Award, Women’s Fund with Mujeres Giving Back Treasure Award, South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Leadership Philanthropy Award, Miracle Maker Award by Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Woman of Distinction & Caring Award. She and her husband, Jorge Luis Lopez, received the James W. McLamore Volunteer of the Year Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Charles “Bebe” Rebozo Humanitarian Award by the Boys & Girls Clubs and American Red Cross Philanthropist of 2015. Upcoming in 2016, Marile will be awarded the Women of Substance & Style Award by the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, and the American Red Cross Spectrum Award.
