Alex Rokaw
Alexandra "Alex" Rokaw leads efforts related to strategic development and execution of programs, fostering an active, informed, and engaged alumni community.
Alexandra first joined the FIU family in 2012 studying Psychology and participating as a Research Assistant. Upon graduating in 2014, Alex joined the Office of Engagement and assisted in the promotion and facilitation of numerous university partnerships. She moved on to work as the Executive Assistant to the Town Manager at Cutler Bay. While working for municipal government in 2017, she earned a Masters in Public Administration, with a Certificate in Public Finance, Procurement and Contract Management.
In 2018, Alexandra returned to FIU as a Financial Analyst for the College of Communication, Architecture + the Arts. She then served as Senior Project Manager for Academic Operations and Strategic Initiatives. She led the College’s efforts with ComPASS while providing analyses and insight to establish and facilitate student success initiatives. Alexandra collaborated with University units to support College and University goals, while integrating analytics in areas of student success and University Wide accountability measures. She championed for students, connecting them with academic and financial support, while improving systems to streamline the academic operations of the College.
Alexandra is a wife and mother of two young boys, whose passions are reading, spending time with family, and excessively watching Royal Family documentaries.
