Rebecca Solomon is the Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives for the FIU Office of Alumni Relations. With a career spanning over 15 years in non-profit and community organizations, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. Rebecca's professional journey includes significant contributions to esteemed institutions such as the American Cancer Society, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, and City of Hope, alongside her impactful roles within the South Florida Jewish community.

Since joining the FIU Alumni team in 2017, Rebecca has been instrumental in shaping the organization's direction. Her expertise in development has enabled her to drive regional alumni engagement, lead philanthropic endeavors, and manage experiential opportunities for alumni. Rebecca's skill set encompasses volunteer management, strategic planning, community outreach, and special project management, making her a critical asset to the team. In her current capacity, Rebecca serves as a lead advisor to the Chief Alumni Officer and plays a strategic role in the Office of Alumni Relations, aligning partnerships and operations to advance departmental goals and relationships.

Hailing from South Florida, Rebecca has deep ties to FIU, being a third-generation FIU employee and soon-to-be second-generation FIU graduate. She earned her bachelor's degree in Humanities from the University of Central Florida in 2006, where she was a student leader and founding president of Alpha Epsilon Phi’s Beta Zeta Chapter. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration from FIU's Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs, Rebecca is poised to continue making a meaningful impact within her field and the FIU community.
