We hope that you had an unforgettable evening of networking and friendship with fellow Panthers and FIU leadership as you celebrated the contributions, successes, and diversity that make up our alumni family.

You are why FIU is a South Florida anchor institution and a solutions center for the world’s toughest challenges.

Remember there are many ways for you to give back to your alma mater.

Time

You can volunteer hours, commit to days of service, or attend events to give back to our FIU.

Take for instance your new FIU Alumni Board of Directors, including your new Board President Sean Gazitúa '04. They freely and enthusiastically give their time to making the university, and especially their fellow alumni stronger every day.

Update your contact information with us to become a future volunteer or just to stay up-to-date with the latest news!

Treasure

You can also give back to your alma mater and its students through financial support.

FIU Trustee Chanel Rowe, valedictorian of the FIU College of Law 2014 graduating class, currently works as senior counsel at Johnson & Johnson where she focuses on litigation policy and litigation risk mitigation; she also serves as a member of the Florida International University Board of Trustees.

She recently gave to the University to create the Trustee Chanel T. Rowe Judicial Externship Scholarship and Trustee Chanel T. Rowe Book Scholarship funds; the former supports FIU Law students who demonstrate financial need, were first-generation college students or from a single-parent household, and wish to participate in a judicial externship, while the latter helps defray the cost of pricey law books.
