Function

The ultimate vision of the Alumni Center is to be the premier multi-purpose facility for academic, social and business gatherings. The interior was designed for more than just entertaining. It features a Panther lounge, offices for Alumni Career Services, flexible meeting spaces for alumni activities, workshops, lectures and much more.

Whether it’s a celebration or special occasion, nothing compares to entertaining at a beautiful venue. The immense space afforded to us can be used to recognize donors, display university history and showcase both student and alumni accomplishments. With a backdrop reminiscent of the high-end lounges on South Beach, the Alumni Center is the perfect place to host stylish, large-scale events.

As FIU alumni continue to make a global impact on communities around the world, creating a “home” on campus to welcome them and celebrate their achievements is an increasingly important need. The Alumni Center will act as an emotional epicenter, fostering affinity and lifelong connections while strengthening the FIU family as a whole.

Guests will be greeted by dynamic electronic banners and interactive touch screens that provide an intuitive, state-of-the-art experience that explores the past, present and future of FIU.
