Speaker Bio: John Nykolaiszyn
John Nykolaiszyn is the director of the Office of Business Career Management for FIU Business. John leads a high preforming team that helps prepare the college’s ten thousand students for the work of work and life after graduation. He also represents the College of Business, the graduates and alumni to employers on a local, national, and international level.
An accomplished human resources professional, John started his career as an agency recruiter, becoming an equity partner in the firm and then successfully transitioning into corporate HR in two very challenging industries, healthcare and then a major restaurant chain/global brand.
John is a nationally recognized thought leader and influencer in the social recruiting and social HR space. He is continuously presenting to national and international business groups as well as other FIU colleges and departments about talent acquisition, employment branding, college recruitment, and the rise of technology in the college recruitment space.
John’s direct recruiting background totals over twenty years. He is a proud FIU Business Alumni and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute and a Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM – SCP).
