From the lighting of the Torch to celebrating the newest class of 5 Under 35 Award recipients and gathering for the ultimate Homecoming game day, there are plenty of reasons to make your way back to campus and remember why FIU will always be part of your story.

Celebrate our Traditions
One of FIU's most beloved traditions brings Panthers together for the lighting of the Torch of Knowledge, Service & Opportunity.
FIU Alumni invites all alumni, students, faculty, and staff to attend FIU’s largest on-campus tradition, Trail of the Torch, part of The Uncaging event. Every year, four outstanding students and one alumnus/a is selected by their peers and the FIU community to be a torchbearer and carry the Torch of Knowledge across campus.

Celebrate Panther Excellence
Meet five remarkable young alumni who are making their mark on FIU and beyond.
FIU Alumni is proud to announce the return of the 5 Under 35 Awards. Now in its fifth year, this signature recognition honors five outstanding young alumni whose accomplishments, leadership and impact are already making their mark on their professions, communities and FIU.
Join us for a day of celebration as we recognize the Class of 2026, beginning with a special activation in the GC Pit and continuing with a panel discussion in GC 243 featuring all five award recipients.
Pre-Event: 12-1 p.m., in GC Pit (MMC)
Panel Conversation: 1:30-2:30 p.m., in GC 243 (MMC)
Both events are open to all FIU students and the FIU community and free to attend. Registration is required.

Celebrate Together
Come home for the official FIU Alumni Homecoming tailgate before the Panthers take the field!
Make your Homecoming Saturday one to remember at Roar Lounge, the official FIU Alumni Homecoming tailgate. Gather with fellow Panthers for a spirited pregame celebration and game-day fun before FIU Football takes the field against Missouri State (kickoff at 4:00 p.m.)
Time: 1-3:30 pm
Location: Parkview Hall, Modesto A. Maidique Campus (MMC)
Tickets are $30 and include food, music, activities for Panthers of all ages, two drink tickets and a special giveaway.
Game tickets are not included. Purchase tickets through FIU Athletics.
